Adaptive reuse of the existing Our Lady of Mercy Church & School, converted into moderately priced senior living apartments. Located in a residential neighborhood, the new facility allows local seniors to continue living in their community, while freeing up existing housing for new families. A new 10,000sf addition makes room for neighborhood health & wellness programming, as well as an on-site cafe, library, and chapel. Focus was placed on reusing as much of the original building as possible, respecting the history and community that had grown up around Our Lady of Mercy.
