Partial demolition and renovation of a 28,500 sf vacant building on Park Avenue and Somerton Street in Rochester, NY. The center portion of the structure was demolished to create an open air parking lot, satisfying local zoning regulations for off street parking (which had previously made this property “unusable”). The remaining portion of the building to the north along Park Avenue, was renovated into upscale retail, while the portion to the south along Somerton Street, was renovated into office space. Both north and south building renovations featured newly designed facades in character with the pedestrian friendly / “window shopping” neighborhood.
